Toward the Achievement of SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals)
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), successor to the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) established in 2001, were unanimously adopted by member states at the United Nations Summit in September 2015 as part of the "2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development." These international objectives aim to create a sustainable and better world by 2030. Comprising 17 goals and 169 targets, the SDGs pledge to "leave no one behind" on Earth.
